The Sir Geoffrey Peren Building first opened in 1931 and has had several name changes - initially Agricultural Science Building (often shortened to Science Building) or Main Building, then later, Old Main Building and, since 2010, the Sir Geoffrey Peren Building.
The 2012 - 2016 seismic strengthening and refurbishing project set out to both strengthen but also to restore heritage aspects of the building to its former glory. 335 were engaged to provide building services design and site monitoring for the project, employing both sympathetic design and product selection for the heritage Architecture a key requirement for the building services aspects of the project.
